flambの想い

子どもを信じ、励まし、やさしいHugを大切に。

子どもに英語を習得させてあげるには、私たち講師もふくめ、近くにいる大人がしっかりと用意してあげなければならないものがあります。

　・ながく続けられる環境を作ってあげること。
　・できるという自信をつけさせてあげること。
　・英語を得意と思わせてあげること。

子どもを信じ、子どものささいな、ほんの小さな小さな英語の成長を見逃さず、褒めてあげる。
たくさん言葉をかけてあげる。
必ず英語ができるようになると、信じ続けてあげる。

これらのことが、子どもの英語学習には、とても大切です。

私たちは、レッスンに来てくれている子どもたちの表情を、よく見る様に心がけています。

そうすると、スクールのドアを開けて入ってきたときの"Hello!"という声のトーンだけで、その子が今日はどんな様子かが分かるようになります。

レッスン中も、子どもたちから出てくる言葉や、今、どんなことを感じているのか、どんなことを思っているのかを、敏感に感じとってあげることが、レッスンする上でとても大切だからです。

子どもの心に寄り添ってあげること。
このことなくしては、いいレッスンはできません。

子どもたちは、近くで大人が気にかけてくれている、 自分のことをみてくれてるんだと感じると、いきいきと頑張ることができるからです。

いつもしっかりと子どもたちを見て、励まし、優しくHugしてあげる。
これは、子どもたちがしっかりと学習するのに、不可欠なことです。

私たちは、ただ英語のレッスンを行うだけではなく、きちんと子どもたちの心に寄り添いながら、想いを持って、大切にレッスンを行うことを使命としています。

英語を通じて、自分を表現するマインドを育てる。

そして、私たちは、英語を話せる様になる事だけが目的のスクールではありません。

「ありがとう。」
「すてきだね。」
「ごめんね。」
「僕はこう思うよ。」

人前で自信を持って話すことが出来、どこでも、誰とでもコミュニケーションできる明るさ。
家族を大切にする気持ちを持ち、人に想いを伝え、表現できる。

これらは、外国人が持つ特有の性質です。

flambで学ぶ子どもたちには、世界中の人たちとつながることができる言語を話せる能力だけではなく、外国人がもっている「自分を持ち、自分を表現できる」能力を持つ人に育ってほしいと考えています。

そのために私たちは、たくさんの取り組みを行っています。

英語を学ぶという事をきっかけに、人として大事なコミュニケーションや考え方、表現する力も一緒に教えていきたいと考えています。

私たちは、一人でも多くの子どもたちに、小さい頃から世界を感じることができるチャンスをつくってあげたい。
大人になってからではなく、こどもの頃に世界にはいろんな人、もの、考え方があることを感じてほしいと考えています。

英語学習を通じて、自由で大きな翼と心を持ち、力強い鳥のように、世界中へと飛び立ってほしい。
こんな想いをもって、スクールの名前をつけました。

これが、わたしたちの想いです。

We believe in our kids, encouraging them to learn because we care about them.

When teaching English to kids, we believe the responsibility for their success lies in both their parents and their teachers. Together, we have to:

・create an environment where kids can continue their learning for a long period of time.
・help our kids become more confident in themselves.
・give our kids a positive outlook towards learning English.

Using words of encouragement, we praise our kids for every small improvement they make, step by step.
We continuously believe in our kids so that they can become competent in English.
Here are the important beliefs we have for properly teaching English.

We pay close attention to all of our students.

Whenever one of our students arrives at our door to attend a lesson, we can understand how they are feeling based on their expressions, especially from how they greet us.

If we do not understand the hearts of the kids we teach, we will not be able to carry out our lessons effectively.
Kids will actively try their best to learn if they know that the adults close to them are watching and taking care of them.

We always make eye contact with our kids, encouraging them with warm hugs.

Such beliefs are important in order to teach our kids how to become competent in English.
We do not just teach English to kids, but we also try to get closer to their hearts so that we can make an impact on their lives.

We teach kids to express themselves through English.

Our school's goal is not just to teach kids how to speak English.

「Thank you.」
「Great!」
「I'm sorry.」
「I think it should be like this.」

We want our kids to be able to cheerfully communicate with other people with self-confidence.
We want our kids to appreciate their families, and to share their own ideas and thoughts with other people.

These characteristics, which are usually not seen in Japanese people, are the values we want our kids to have.
Kids who come to flamb are expected to not only develop the English proficiency needed to communicates with people from all over the world, but to also to build the confidence to communicate with these people without feeling embarrassed.

For that reason, we implemented various teaching methods to nurture our kids.
In addition to becoming competent in English, we would also want our kids to develop their own ideas, learn how to express themselves, as well as to improve their communication skills.

Fly like a mighty bird.

We would like to create international opportunities for as many of our kids as possible.
We want our kids to have a more international view of the world, to be able to understand different kinds of people, concepts and ideas across the world.

When it comes to the opportunities that can gained from learning English, we would like our kids believe that the sky is the limit, flying through the world like a bird.
From this idea, we chose the name our school, "f-l-a-m-b".
